Anthony Patterson has left Sunderland and signed permanently for Wrexham for an undisclosed fee thought to be in the region of £8 million + £2 million in add ons.
Patterson a product of Sunderland’s Academy spent 17 years at his boyhood club making 179 competitive appearances. The goalkeeper was instrumental in helping the club secure two play-off final promotions to the Championship and then the Premier League.
